Shunsuke Francois Nanjo

Nanjo's work concentrates on representing the Human through either its presence or its absence; its strength and its fragility; its gaps and its possibilities. He began this concept at a workshop in 2002 in Toulouse, France, in collaboration with the photographer Lionel Bayol-Themines. This lead him to discover the theme of “the body and the identity”. This concept has broadened since. Nanjo continues to pursue the question of the representation of the Human through mediums such as photography, painting and installations.
