Kilu

Kilu is an award-winning (Chelsea International Fine Art Competition) New York based artist of German origin. Capturing the intangible with his camera, he performs his darkroom alchemy to reveal mystic colors and depths. His magical abstractions explore light as a continuous form and manipulating its every meander and gesture through digital and photographic processes. Spotting his visual art behind a camera lens, Kilu conveys innovative points of view with his photo art. He seeks in his work the unseen , the unexplored and the invisible. He creates a portrait with his object , whether inanimate or not , revealing the life within and demystifying the underlying natural life forces and phenomena. His work delivers mesmerizing images with elegant colors and a choice of mystic portraiture , systematic lines and curvatures. Kilu captures his unique observations using camera, followed by applying digital darkroom alchemy to them, he documents the visual outcome using canvas and photographic process. His work has been exhibited in New York and Zurich and also published in high-profile art publications (NY Arts Magazine, World of Best Art). Kilu's latest body of work; "Rays" is a creative light-sculpture installation that utilizes colorful laser lights showing his trademark aesthetic and contemplative atmosphere.
